Not all nuts and seeds are recommended. If you read the book, there is a page in there that has the ratios of omega 3 to omega 6 fats of many nuts and lists the good and bad nuts. The good nuts are walnuts, pecans and almonds (may be forgetting one). The bad ones are legumes (anything else that are not the good nuts
). Go back to the book and if you can't find it there, check the paleo site about it.
Actually pecans are not the best nut but I love em anyway!!
Peanuts are not nuts, but legumes! Macadamias are a great nut (but on zone 1 nut=1 fat block!). And yeas, nut cause digestive issues for many, myself included. i rarely eat/use nuts! There was something over at Performance Menu
recently about this but I cant pull it up now as there seems to be something going on with their server! (wfs)
