Question about rope used for training. I ordered a 25 ft rope from mcmaster.com as recommended by an article I read. Problem is the ends were just cut bluntly and taped to keep from fraying. How can I secure the ends without tying a knot so I don't lose length. I'm thinking I could burn the ends but I've only done that with hockey laces, don't want to wreck my rope (plus it looks like something highly flammable).
