Excellent choice Paul. You still have the ability to dictate what you do, just use the WOD as your GPP program and train any way you want with extra workouts. Ramp up slow. Most CFers practice a sport or skill other than Crossfit. You will find CF ideas bleeding into you other practice. One of the advantages, that most people over look, is the WOD usually takes about a half hour, including warm-up. Plenty of time to play with other things.
