Was thinking of putting them on a break for about a week to reset. Told them to come in an ddo some light rowing, running, stretching. No WOD's, strength or anything. Has anyone else dealt with this and what was the amount of time you suggest to break?
Unless they are totally drained (both mentally and physically), stopping barbell work totally is probably not optimal.
Programming a deload week + moderately intense metcons could be a better option.
