and honestly, the only advice I can give is to just keep kipping!! and keep the kip explosive. I find that when I'm thinking about it too much, my kip slows down and it just doesn't happen.
and Laura -- how is it that you have strict pull ups and no kip?? I'm in completely the opposite situation. I've been training with a jumpstretch band even - but when I try for a dead hang pull up I just get stuck and can't seem to pull my self up past a 90 degree angle at the elbow! it's SO frustrating!! Do you have any tips? :]
