So, with the help of my stepdad I finally got my home depot pullup bar into place, which allowed me to put up my Elite Rings from www.ringtraining.com
The rings rock and I can't wait to try some dips on them... Unfortunately, I suffered a bizarre, unexpected f#@$!&ing shoulder spasm/cramp/whatever Sunday evening.
However, my just-turned 3 year old has gotten some use out of them -- both in and out of his giant inflatable bouncy castle. :-) He's getting to enjoy them more than I am at the moment.
I love the rings though -- can't wait to start using them for ring pull ups, pushups, etc. I may have to put in another pull up bar in my garage (higher ceiling) so I can try muscle-ups... What is the recommended ceiling height, anyway?
