Drive your feet way over the rings on the initiation, then pull the rings "up" (toward your chest) hard as your COG shifts over the rings then push like crazy and stabilize the support. Get a spotter to help you through a bunch of these until you get the feel. And yeah if the rings get behind you game over, unless you are really, really strong. Back lever to cross anyone?
