OHS Arm/Shoulder Rotation

I will try my best for this to make sense. I am not double jointed, but when I OHS, for my arms to feel strongest the shoulders "Rotate" a bit to allow for a good OHS.

The best way to explain is that if you put your arm overhead (holding a PVC in a OHS position), coming from the front of the body on up, your arm pits point out forward as you hold the position. If I try to OHS from that position it is not idea. For me, from that OH position (arm pits more forward), I rotate my shoulder in the socket so my arm pits rotate to the side more. This also really helps to get my "Shoulders Covering the Ears" effect.

My question is that is this ok? Thoughts are greatly appreciated.
