We have worked with the bands as a progression before, but didn't really find it to be the most effective as far as actually turning that progression into handstand pushups down the road. It for sure gets you in the position, but is a little uncomfortable to get into (even for someone with a good handstand) Work safe

To each their own, if it works for you great, we didn't have the most luck.... maybe the variable of pullup bar height changes this progression to much.

I also tried to keep the progressions as simple as possible so that they could be done almost anywhere... and quick to set up so they could be put into a workout.
