Louis would probably advocate rotating in the maxi pad (just as he does the manta ray) from time to time on an ME day, or even for a 3 week cycle of DE box squats. Because it's different.
But that's a bit advanced for the original poster. You should use a low bar back squat and hold the bar right and realize that even a skinny
like you won't have a problem.
