For a while, all you really saw for KBs in the Crossfit workouts were 1 pood (approx. 36lb) and 1.5 pood (approx 53lb) kettles... lately though, they seem to be throwing the Big Dog at us (2 pood, about 72lbs).

I would say definitely get the 1.5 pood... I think you'll get the most use out of it. As for a 2nd... do what you feel... I'd probably go heavier....
