I run and travel with Teva Mush II flip flops and 54 inch laces from REI. I quit using running shoes about a year ago. I traveled to Rome last summer and ran about 8 to 20 miles per day with friends. We had a great time running around the Tiber River, Colosseum, and Borghese Gardens. To improve traction on snow and ice install four 1/4 inch sheet metal screws in each sole and wear Injinji toe socks to keep your feet warm.
