Re: host gator and drupal help

Check out the Running a Crossfit Facility forum for help on building websites.

Here's an example of one of the thread's there that includes some resources.

I played with Host Rocket and Drupal for a little while. I'm not sure what issues you have. I'm not familiar with Host Gator. When I used Host Rocket it had a control panel with a lot of utilities and a good FAQ system and customer support system. I initially used the hosts installer to install Drupal but it was not installing the latest version. I eventually got an FTP client that was faster to use than the Hosts web client. I then went to Drupal downloaded the software and followed their instructions using my FTP client to upload, move, and edit the files on the host. You may want to get an FTP client that allows you to transfer files between the host and your computer if you haven't already. There are some that are some that are free and some you can purchase. Drupal is a very flexible system for building a website but it has a long learning curve.
