Seriously though,

Here is a link explaining P300 amplitude and latency. It is basically a way of measuring nervous system sensitivity.

The abstract of the study basically said that exercise imrproved nervous system performance up to the point of fatigue, which one could expect.

My guess is that more blood flowing, possibly higher ear pressure, and the nervous system sensitivity all contribute to your improved hearing.
