Ice is good... add in some massage.

Also, roll your plantar fascia and posterior chain (calves/hammies/glutes/maybe low back too) to help loosen up everything.

It's likely that the excessive impact is what aggravated it in the first place, so stay away from that for now. Probably won't like it, but it's the best thing to do.

To "restrengthen" or "retrain" it do slow eccentrics.
