The overhead squat is an excellent place to start. It tests upper and lower body flexibility at the same time. The average trainee SHOULD be able to squat to at least parallel without losing lordosis in the lower back, keep the heels on the ground and keep the bar or broomstick lined up directly over the ankle bone. Most people will have trouble with this.
