Lumbar (lower back) strain - ugh

Hey all, the WOD the other day was going really well, until I was at the very end. The last rep, last set, i was almost all the way up when i feel a 'pop' kinda like when someone pops your back for you, except that it hurt really bad. I went to the Dr to make sure I didn't do severe damage and got some Vicodin and muscle relaxer to take before bed. Anyway...

This is my first real back pain, and it's NOT fun. I'm sure some of you, unfortunately, have some experience with this. Doc said it may take 10 days to SIX WEEKS to feel better! Anyone have similar happen?

It's actually depressing b/c I want to do my WOD every day, not lay on a heat pad and take pills
