Dan, I noticed the same thing. I used to train only one day a week in Muay Thai, and when I started CrossFit, it really kicked things up a notch in every area. I'm missing my MT training, lately, but I do try to attend a couple of classes a month. CrossFit is perfect complement for fight training. I took up Krav Maga after doing this for a while and CF is great conditioning for self defense as well. It helps you work through adrenaline and exhaustion.
