The clean grip power snatch to close grip overhead squat is a great combination. It's damn near impossible to cheat on both exercises. The arm pulling that you can get away wit on a power clean or wide grip power snatch doesn't fly on a clean grip power snatch. You just have to jump. The forward leaning, knee's caving in, weight on toes, etc. that you can get away with on other types of squats just doesn't work on a close grip overhead squat.

Try this complex with 95 lbs.:

3 clean grip power snatches
3 close grip overhead squats
6 cheerleaders (like a thruster but with the bar behind the neck)
