another thing to mention, once i was ablt to do 20 pull-ups in a row, a muscle-up happened pretty soon after. my max is 23 pull-ups (can't seem to hit 25!) and eventhough i hardly get a chance to get to the gym i can almost always still crank off a muscle up when i'm in the gym. it's a combination of strength, conditioning, and mentally believing that you can do it!
