Yeah, guys, he was pushing directly on the hips in a full down position. I was only passing on information that helped me. He also suggested forcing your knees outwards which seemed strange to me, but also has helped.
Sounds like many more years of experience coming to bare. Like I said, it was just my opinion and also that of someone without many years of experience.
I squat for fitness and am not normally pushing the type of loads many of you do for reps.
