When I feel spent, I know I'm not eating enough.
Eat more, you'll feel the difference. You can still lose and not feel like garbage. Up your daily cals a few hundred at a time and see what it does for you.
Some days I eat 2300, most days I eat around 1700-1800. I'm a 5'4" chick and you can bet on days I go to Aikido I eat about 500+cals more.
I wore a heart rate monitor in class once that measured around 400 cals burned per hour btw.
