today was my first day of whole 30. I have to tally to see how I did.
I usually make 4 smoothies a day--all with tons of veggies, protein powder, water or unsweetened almond milk and ice. I really liked the convenience and the taste and the quick delivery of protein and nutrients from the veggies (usually frozen cauli and a good mix of greens).
so now I can't have protein powder and I still want a smoothie. today I made one with 1/4 c. coconut milk from can (whole foods brand), 1/2 c. water, big handful of spinach, 1/2 c. mango, frozen cauli. It was okay but no protein so I guess I need to add an egg or something.
I don't want to lose weight necessarily-I am 5'7" 130-135 and I am a long distance runner. I could use less flab in the middle
but after 3 c-sections, I think it will take plastic surgery.
