There is a specific pattern. Not with the workouts themselves but with their result or "activities".
I forgot what the programming was like, but you combined the activities to create a type of programming that meets the required criteria for the day.
I know that's a really broad answer, but the CF Journal doesn't load well for me in Uganda and that's all I remember from memory.
