Upper Middle Back Pain

Hi All,
I've been experiencing some upper back pain that grows increasingly worse after each workout. It's central right in between my shoulder blades and runs up to my neck. It's not acute pain, it's just like constant kind of annoying, numbing pain and it feels really tight in that area. I would understand lower back pain, could be a variety of exercises done wrong like improper dead lift but I don't get the origins of this. Seems like I'm consistently straining it, its been during the course of this weeks WOD's. I am new to crossfit but not lifting. Any ideas would be great, I really don't want to be out of comission/do it again. Thanks for the help
