IF, when done correctly, is the most potent fat-loss tool I've ever encountered.
Last year, adding it to the paleo zone that I was already following, I dropped 8lbs in just a few weeks. If I'm 100% honest I kind of overdid it (it was an experiment) by fasting overly long or overly often and it is easy to become dizzy in those circumstances. But performance was fine (I'm quite sure there was a 3 min Fran in there somewhere...) except for maximal strength
And that was 8lbs from somebody in clear single digits bodyfat, so to me anything that does that is very effective indeed. 162lbs was too light though, went back up to 170lbs shortly after.
