Finishing Hard on Time-Priority WODs
For time-priority WODs, e.g. Cindy, what are your strategies or your mindset for finishing hard? On task-priority WODs (e.g. Helen) I feel like I know exactly what I have left and thus have the impetus to get it over as quickly as possible. I can see the "finish line" so to speak. On time-priority WODs, sometimes I don't know exactly how much time I have left and therefore am left guessing as to how hard I should go. If I do get a glimpse at the clock, then I sometimes feel like I can sort of cruise in, because I won't finish the round anyway or I'm almost done... something like that.
Obviously these wimpish mentalities ain't so hot, so what's yours?
