Who is it for? Is it someone relatively out of shape who asked you "hey, you workout a lot: what are a couple of things I can do for my golf game?" or is it an athlete who knows his way around the gym and also golfs?

The former I would only give pretty generic strength and core exercises. If it's an athlete who knows how to do things like squat and press then I might suggest (in addition to core anti-rotation stuff) overhead squats. I have no specific experience training golfers, but Dan John is a big proponent of heavy OHS for throwers (shotput, discus. http://danjohn.net/the-overhead-squat-article/ WFS); I bet it would be good for golfers too.
