Re: Nuetral Spine WODs Ideas?

I'm no expert in what does what, but lots of single leg work such as lunges, split squats, step ups, bridges, farmer's carries all come to mind.

Been doing hamstring stretches, as I have chronic...

Re: Weight Watchers Finally Stops Counting Calories

Basically, yes. "Loss of control" vs "Lack of a quantitative method" is a matter of interpretation / discussion. Maybe some people need rules... Or maybe the saying "You don't know what you don't...

Re: Weight Watchers Finally Stops Counting Calories

Facts:
- WW still uses points and has volume related measurements, but is "lower carb" after recent changes
- I've seen it work over and over for folks needing to get down to a reasonable weight...

Re: Pulling exercises while rehabbing L4/L5 injury

I'm...

Re: Back Pain...Another one

Very carefull ones...:)

Palof (spelling?) presses and ab wheel roll-outs were recommended (neutral spine). Indirectly, the front rack position lunges seem to work the abs too. I would think side...

Re: Back Pain...Another one

Yep.

I've had low back pain for years, normal stuff. I live with it, doesn't effect working out, bending backwards always helped. A couple months ago it moved into my upper-low back or lower-mid...

Every once in a while, I'll see folks request a list of WODs for reference when they are going to be away from internet access for an extended period.

Here is an excel spreadsheet that contains...

Re: Total Knee Replacement

First, talk to your doc and PTs before you do anything! If they give you an uninhibited "go for it," get another opinion. It must be considered that TKR prosthesis aren't going to be as "good" as...

Re: Fun Bodyweight workout

Re: I tried Nancy today (1st week of crossfit)

Kipping takes some time, just stay after it. The best resource on the net for kipping pull ups is the "Adrian Teaches Kipping" series. Get the swing, get the hip snap, then you've got 1. Push off...
