HSPUs - bands or decreased ROM

So, if I am working on trying to do more strict HSPUs would you do

1) Bands with full ROM
2) Slightly less ROM with a AbMat (no bands)

I see benefits to both...

I found jumping bar MUs helped me the most. I started well under the bar like I was hanging / about to kip and then tried to mimic the movement into a bar MU.

Got my first one with about 4 weeks...

I actually like the slightly thicker aspect of the Nano, but then again, also really like the ground feel from the NB.

Good advice. I hit one with a small swing (almost none) and think that is a good focus for me.

When I think about swinging the MU goes out the window!!

I may try to get some video so I can see...

I have those (with a false grip), but I think I just freak out when I add a big swing messing the whole thing up...

I think you are saying get them strict without the false grip and go from...

no sciatica. Priformis feels ok... I think its glutes. they are weak...

resting for a few days and starting to feel better and then I will work on the glutes.

and as a side note... the last 4 weeks have left me with a slightly sore lower back. I suspect this is ALL RELATED!!

...Inactive glutes forces your lower back and hamstrings to do more work...
