Re: Unrestricted Paleolithic Diet is Associated with Unfavorable Changes to Blood Lipids in Healthy Subjects.

Fair response, however a majority of paleo advocates also recommend pastured ruminants and wild caught fish as the main suggestions for protein sources, so wouldn't it also be valuable to see what...

Re: Unrestricted Paleolithic Diet is Associated with Unfavorable Changes to Blood Lipids in Healthy Subjects.

Protein is not protein is not protein. I wold like to know the sources of said protein. There needs to be a similar study done using pastured ruminants and wild caught fish.

Re: FitAid

I don't really get the Paleo claim as it is sweetened with agave - most certainly NOT Paleo. Not saying it's a good or bad product. Just questioning the whole "Paleo" claim.

Re: Pre-Workout

This looks very similar in almost every way to ARO Black Pre-workout however the ARO is half the price.

Re: Favorite part of the chicken?

That reminds me, I forgot to include the neck and feet in there, but then again they could be included in "other".

Re: Favorite part of the chicken?

Re: Chicken thighs

Encourage everyone else to eat the breasts to keep the price of the tasty parts of the chicken cheap for the rest of us. :highfive:

Re: Tuna suggestions

Re: Tuna suggestions

I'm not certain, but is really worth taking the chance, when there are other, most certainly safer alternatives?

Re: Tuna suggestions

If you are going to be eating a can a day I would highly suggest either switching to packets or at least buying cans that are BPA free.

Re: World's Hottest CrossFitter

Ok, props on the funny reply, but these ladies are obviously not "Crossfitters" as stated in the thread title. That is unless, "stairmaster" is in a WOD I missed.

Hot ladies, yes. Crossfitters,...

Calorie / Nutrition tracker

Anyone use one of the online nutrition trackers out there? I looked at Fitday, but finding foods on there is a bit of a pain, and some of the items I eat aren't even on there, so I don't know if I...

Pain under right side rib cage

I have recently started to experience temporary pain under my rib cage when doing longer metcon WOD's. The pain appears 15-20 minutes into the workout and stays pretty constant throughout and then...

Re: Saying hello and a question or two

No response yet? I guess I should also include my goals, which are to get my bodyweight down to 180 or so. I know weight in and of itself isn't really that important, but given my frame I think...

Saying hello and a question or two

Hello all. Cool board. I am like some here in that my workout history has consisted of bodybuilding-type workouts, so my low-rep strength is pretty good for my frame, but my muscular endurance...
