As the program says, don't do a metcon longer than 15 minutes and try to keep them under 10 minutes generally. I would avoid doing the same lift in the strength work and in a metcon.

As the program is outlined in the CF Journal article, one cycle is 6 weeks long.

I'm just finishing up my first 6 weeks. Trust me, you'll see plenty of progress, not just in your strength, but also in your performance in the metcons.

You've obviously got to work within your resources. That said I think your training will suffer if you do BS and DL on the same day. If you're hitting either one of those heavy, it should leave you...
