I eat half a larabar before I work out and it seems to be just enough of protein/fat/carbs. ( they are just dried fruit, nuts, and spices. :)

You don't have to limit yourself to spinach-- most greens work in a smoothie. If it's too bitter add a banana or a little stevia.

As more of a dessert, I like frozen cherries, stevia, cocoa...

Not very active outside Crossfit at present-- three days a week is currently kicking my ***! I'm also in grad school so I sit a lot! That will change in another month though.

When to add more fat on Zone?

So based on my calculations, I should be eating 12 zone blocks a day (female, 5'6, 146 pounds, trying to lose 20 pounds of fat) just started Crossfit 3 days per week.

12 blocks = around 1100...
