Don't lace the boots over the arch of the foot, skip the lace holes that would constrict the top of the foot and force the arch down.

That's probably your problem. I was shocked how little I was eating when I first started tracking my calories.
On SS you really need to eat a ton to get gains, like an absurd amount, much more...

Based on what? I've seen guys hit a 500 DL and 405 BS in a little over 6 months on a basic SS program. I didn't believe until I saw a guy at my gym do it, he had the genetics and was a bigger dude...

The problem with LP in the military is you run, you run A LOT! Something like 531 may be better for someone in the military as the running won't kill your program like it would a basic linear...

I never said they did, point is olympic lifters seem to be pretty flexible while still wearing oly shoes, it doesn't seem to impede their flexibility much at all, nor do they see it as a crutch,...

put a 1 x 4 piece of wood under you heel and squat to depth, if it's easier get a pair of lifting shoes.
Your shoes are a minimalist running show not a weight-lifting shoe. They will work better...
