Re: 2012 Open, Regional and Games thread

Interestingly, Neal Maddox has a first and third, and Khalipa has a third and fifth, but both did poor on the burpees. Seems like some bigger guys are doing really well, and if 12.5 is heavy, these...

Re: 2012 Open, Regional and Games thread

Re: 2012 Open, Regional and Games thread

Agreed. The jumps just don't make sense...

75 lbs
135 lbs (+60 lbs)
165 lbs (+30 lbs)
210 lbs (+45 lbs)

There's no consistency there at all.

As long as I hit > 5reps (1st week), 3 reps (2nd week) and 1 rep (3rd week) on the last set, I should go...

Re: Yet another Wendler 5-3-1 Template

I tried this with Power Cleans and might stick to a more standard 5x3 for that lift. It seemed on the last set, as I tried for max reps the form really starts to get iffy as the reps go on, and the...

Re: Yet another Wendler 5-3-1 Template

Did my first deadlift workout last night and got 8 on the 5+ as well. I had more in me, but my grip couldn't hang on anymore. Anyone hit that?

Re: Yet another Wendler 5-3-1 Template

Anybody tried this with power cleans? Since I don't have a bench, I'm going to try Power Cleans as the other major lift.

For those that eat oatmeal for a quick breakfast, what are some good flavorful items to mix in? And what are the measurements you use?

Re: Need help/ideas/advice on TWO topics!!!

Re: Where can I get a good set of rings?

Just wanted to add that I got the Wood Rings Complete set from Alex @ Fringesport and they are awesome. Wood rings feel great. And having the two sets of straps is very useful.

Re: What I'd like to see at the 2012 games
