Stim and ultrasound are close to worthless when it comes to back pain. Ultrasound does nothing. Stim is temporary pain relief

Find a McKenzie trained PT/Chiro or someone listed on Clinical Athlete....

SIJ pain is greatly over diagnosed. Pain over the SIJ is more often referred from the lumbar spine.

Have you seen any sports-specializing PT/Chiro?

Go do some research on the true effectiveness of those before you buy. Most recent research shows there are few conditions that it significantly helps.

the formal rehab doesn't usually last that long but yes recovery is typically a year plus process

you will be able to run with weight vest SEVERAL months down the road.
