Just read that they are going to cut about 50% of the individuals after the first event. That is a long way to go and very expensive to get cut after the first workout. Then they go on cuts and more...

Wed- long workout session- Met Jeff my friend and we swam some laps at the 24.

Some 25M, 50M,100M and 1 150M. Then some 50 meter just kicking the board.
Total of 650 plus.

3 weeks and a day till the games start. I would loved a nice stress and injury free lead up. But that would be asking too much. I worked on my rehab last night.

Saturday- still feeling the effects of the sickness but over 80%. Drove up to Alpine for the lake swim- great day with Alpine Ranch crew.

Tuesday guzzled water and no working out.

Wed- 12 min on the bike and some rowing. Worked on my ankle is a bit on the sore side. But workable. No Dubs or heavy walking with objects for a while.

I got a sore throat after Sunday's session. I drank tons of water and pounded max vit-c.

I feel better now. I am having a self inflicted de load week. Just easy stuff till Friday....
