That's exactly what I was thinking, strongman comps are the heavy weight division of CF. Or CF is the light weight division of strongman, depending on how you look at it.

I agree, but any network regardless of size would be competing against football if they televise during the fall. I'd be shocked if a network made that choice instead of sticking to the summer where...

If you want to go cheap, keep an eye on Craigslist. I bought a squat rack, bar, over 400lbs of iron plates and a couple sets of dumbells for $600. It's not ideal for CF obviously but it fit my budget...
