Re: Klokov performs workout DT (3 round version)

I think that I'll have to find another message board to have rational discussion, unfortunately. I used to like it here.

Re: Klokov performs workout DT (3 round version)

I don't know how a guy like Adrian Peterson would do in Crossfit, and neither do you. His bodytype and strengths are well suited for speed and power oriented competitions, but I've never seen how...

Re: Unathletic 9 year old

What is a nine year old more likely to consistently do to...

Re: Klokov performs workout DT (3 round version)

Yup. It's the same level of thinking as the people who say that these big, huge, athletic football players like Julius Peppers and the like would dominate Crossfit.

I'll take a 190-200 pound All...

Re: Unathletic 9 year old

He has not gone through puberty yet. There's no telling what type of athlete he will develop into. I doubt I could do a pullup at that age, yet nine years later, I was signing an athletic...

Re: Improving running

Some good ideas in here. You can get creative. I've done a 20 minute run around a track, where I would run the first 300 meters, and do lunges for the last 100 meters, and see how much distance I...

Re: Trying To Help My Girlfriend Get A Muscular Behind

Regardless of what happens, can we all agree that this is the best thread title in the website's life?

Re: Klokov performs workout DT (3 round version)

It's different strokes for different folks. I don't really aim to have my body to perform or look like either of their bodies. My formula is more of a 1/3 strength, 1/3 cardio, 1/3 athleticism....

Re: Improving running

Well those two workouts you listed are good for speed and anaerobic capabilities, but during a brutal WOD, you are going to need endurance as well. I'd add something like a weekly 2-3 mile run at a...

Re: How big can you be with crossfit ?

I often wonder about this myself, about what the optimal body size would be for the games.

From what I gather, by looking at past winners (and elite finishers) of the Crossfit Games, the ideal...

I'm only 29 but thinking about the future, so I can avoid making TS posts like this one in fifteen years, haha.

Does anybody have experience with testosterone replacement...

Well it sounds like you know what needs to be done. Rome wasn't built in a day. Keep at it and educate yourself to optimize your routine.

Re: Improving the run

Re: Strength Programs to follow

Time under tension. When doing Oly lifts, the TUT is very minimal. Your muscles are working, albeit very quickly and powerfully, for a very short period of time. Generally you need to tax your...

Re: Does long distance running reduce muscle mass?
