My son's weightvest is a 50lb vest and in fact weighs 50 lbs including the vest itself. So it looks like Mir at least,includes the weight of the vest.

I have the same bar. It has not yet broken, but I am disappointed with it and do not like the fact that it only weighs 40 lbs and not 45 lbs as stated. I will not be buying from York again.

I live in a Duplex and use both iron and bumper plates. I have no lifting platform or stall mats on the floor. My tenants nextdoor have never complained, and there are no cracks in the building!

Most people here are Crossfitters not training for strongman. Of course 16 lbs would be too light for those training strongman
