Re: CFSB - Ask your questions here!

You like my snatch, huh Sean? I'll get some pics and a video up one day soon ;)

I'm about 6'3 220, but I look to be about 200. Don't know where that extra 15 lbs. comes in, but I think that I must...

Re: CFSB - Ask your questions here!

Re: CFSB - Ask your questions here!

Alright, I've read everything again - the primary source article, this entire thread, a lot of the accompanying tangents - and I've hit the gym hard and I've got to say that I'm impressed. Kudos to...

Re: CFSB - Ask your questions here!

A Williams man! I'm a fairly recent grad myself - I enlisted in the Army after graduating and the CFSB/oly-bias programming is definitely where its at for me.

Today I did max squat snatch (failed at...

Re: CFSB - Ask your questions here!

I've become a huge fan of this protocol, applying it more towards olympic lifting and tough gymnastic movements than to powerlifting ones. The power derived in these complicated movements from 1...

Re: CFSB - Ask your questions here!

What I mean is that a single rep of the squat snatch is strength training, but 10 reps of it is metabolic conditioning. Strength-oriented metcon, yes, but still just metcon. And my last point was...

Re: CFSB - Ask your questions here!

Has it occurred to anybody else that the purpose of strength training (whether it takes the form of the squat snatch, the press handstand, the deadlift, the weighted muscle-up or anything else) is to...
