It's not that I haven't progressed at all on any of the workouts: I recently set PRs for 30 muscle-ups at 7:50, and 50 burpees at 3:28 -- both of which I would have struggled to even finish two years...

Anthony, I understand the tendency towards suspicion. I have done Crossfit regularly, eaten well, and gotten 7-8 hours of sleep a night for the past two years. I did have a one-month break around...

Thanks for all the advice. My grip is OK -- I just run out of gas around the 11th round. Soreness is mostly in the core muscles, so I'm guessing that's my weak point. I'll try the "grease the groove"...
