So about 5 months ago I was doing "Christine" which involves rowing, dead lifts, and box jumps. I over estimated by abilities on the 12 dead lifts, and on the 11th of the first set I felt a weird pop...

If you're trying to gain strength, do five sets of five reps for each major...

I'm actually pretty flexible and always have been. Did martial arts for 12 years so I limbered up pretty well.

A couple factors play into this sort of training.
1) Genetics. Some people have the capacity to train harder and faster without overtraining.
2)Nutrition. If you ever listen to some of these guys'...

I hear good things about this protein. It's all natural supposedly, but more importantly, uses stevia as the sweetener as opposed to aspartame or sugar.

The brain uses glucose exclusively for energy, so if you're not eating enough fruits/veggis, this might explain the mental lethargy.

It could also be a lack of sleep, stress, etc.

The definition of insanity is repeating the same action over and over expecting different results. I don't understand why people will sit for hours on the eliptical or stairmaster, lose no fat/gain...
