Sure. But what about the people who get all their calories from real food? It's easier to say that meat is better than donuts, but what about fresh fruit and fresh vegetables?

As Chris said, more details needed. Most active people, male or female, will need 2000 calories or more just to maintain. So there's a good chance that someone who claims to be eating that few...

I think this thread demonstrates the importance of listening to your body. Clearly, some people thrive on a low-carb, high fat regime, some don't. Some people have trouble with grains, some don't....

The argument for high fat is not that fat is good, but that carbs are bad. If you limit carbs while maintaining a high activity level, you need lots of fat to get enough calories. If you're not...
