Just do handstands for about a minute every other day or so and this will help strengthen those vessels so they don't pop.
Also -- learn how to breath in that position. It will help too.

Yes -- at least some form of it. I also do a 1 minute hand stand every workout day.
Doing the CFWU or some for of it, plus the hand stands, helps keep your skin tough on your hands to high rep...
