We're looking at a warehouse location which has radiant floor heating. Anyone have experience with this sort of heating when matted over with rubber? Any advice would be appreciated!

Re: Need to get my parents started

You might ask them if they would use a rowing machine. Rowing is a "Crossfit" exercise. It can be done at home. It's very safe. It's not as intimidating as weight-lifting. It's a full-body exercise....

Re: What 1rp's should one have before doing all WOD's rxed?

"I used to be able to lose weight easily, but now I have a difficult time even getting the first few pounds off. Why?"

I'll summarize...

Re: An interesting phenomenon

I know someone with an E-mycin allergy. She occasionally gets a reaction when eating poultry. It's happened a couple times when eating the holiday turkey. It by no means happens every time she eats...

Re: Lump above my belly button

I figured as much. Diastasis Recti is not restricted to infants and postpartum women. Abdominal separation can occur due to excess intra abdominal fat. It's distinct from a hernia, and not as...

Re: A Year of CF!

Doug, congratulations on your impressive results!

I would be very interested in what your blood work looked like before Crossfit and/or before Paleo. I've been Paleo now for a few weeks, and have...

Re: Not 'Crapping right'.

Fish Stew - with Recipe

I've been making a fish stew for a while. Perhaps others in the CF community will enjoy it? I've adapted it to conform better to "Zone" and "Paleo" principles. In particular, I replaced the potatoes...

Re: Easy Squash ideas

I'm assuming you're talking about a winter squash variety: butternut, acorn, etc..

The easiest two ways to prepare are:

1) cut in half, core, and bake until tender (mentioned above)

and

2) Peel,...

Re: Chlorella, Spirulina, Wheatgrass as Omega 3 sub for fish oil

Don't believe what they say about the taste of wheat grass. It's very sweet, and has a taste like, yes, grass. Not bad at all. I find it delicious. I have no idea on it's worth as an Omega 3...
