Did you actually read everything he wrote? Because that's pretty much NOT what he said he was doing. For 4 out of the last 5 months, his only workout has been the CFWU.

This is completely incorrect and could give somebody rhabdo. You do NOT lower yourself slowly. There is no eccentric component to the movement.

I prefer skate shoes (DC, etc) over Chucks for general WOD use (including WODS with short runs like Helen etc).

I think it's hard to beat the Adidas Adizero for POSE running.

It has a double meaning. Crossfit has achieved quite a bit of recognition/traction within the military community. Our troops are often considered "infidels" and many wear t-shirts proudly...
