Re: Double Under Crash Course
I'll have to disagree with the "jump high turn the rope really fast" advice.
DUs are most efficiently done with a jump that is no higher than a regular single under. When helping new people to...

Interesting topic.
I've been doing CF coming up on 3 years and have done SS, PMenu workouts, my affiliate WODs and the mainpage workouts. My best results have come when I've religiously followed...

Re: Pull Up Bar Height
We just moved out of a garage-gym affiliate and into a new box and our pull-up bars at the new place are at 9'. It made a huge difference at first, but now we're all used to the additional height....

Re: Finding a Compatible Doctor
Frank,
Shoot me an email jberg(at)titanfit(dot)com and I'd be happy to ask around at our box. One of the partners at our CF affilliate is a GP MD (also Level 1 certified) and another long time...

Re: studpullup bar
We've got 2 at my affiliate. Rock solid, even with a 250+ guy kipping. Easy to install.
Only gripe is the finish on the bar. I prefer unfinished metal, but for the price and ease of installation,...

Re: Kipping Chin Up Form/Technique
Hi Mischa,
A few thoughts, at the bottom you're not fully extending your arms. Your elbows still are slightly flexed. I find I get the smoothest kip with straight arms - but that just might be me....

Re: No Zone-No Paleo-No Problem for Mike Phelps
I'm fairly certain no one who has commented in this thread, myself obviously included, is even remotely qualified to give nutritional advice to Michael Phelps.
And in case you've been living in a...

Re: Rings: Rogue vs. Elite
Tyler,
I've only tried your product once, and it was about 18 months ago.
I should have been a bit more specific and just compared the rogue to the powermax rings directly. With that...

Re: 080619 question
Andrew,
I can understand how you're a bit wary of "getting in the best shape of your life" from doing 1 rep of three workouts.
Today's workout is the CrossFit Total. It presents itself a few...

Re: New and not quite sure about...
Emma,
I'll have to echo what Christopher stated. That seems like way, way too much for a 7 day cycle. You've listed 8 workouts which would be killer for the first week, let alone the following...

Re: Final Tweaks to my MEBB routine
Jeffrey,
I've had more success with my max effort lifts on the first day of the cycle, as opposed to the middle of the 3. However, this was just my experience.
I think I've seen Anthony...

Re: Rogue Fitness (Bar, rings, service, etc.)
Hi Bill,
Yes, definitely like the changes on the Duvide dS.
Question, does Duvide manufacture a pure speed rope? the dS is perfectly sufficient for double unders, however it isn't a pure speed...

i have a set of powermax and rogue.
rogue straps adjust much, much easier. they're just the right diameter, bomb-proof and bill is a pleasure to do business with.
best,

Re: Elite Rings or Xtreme Rings?
If you're interested in durability, get the Rogue Rings. I like them much better than my Powermax rings. That seems to be the consensus with those individuals who have tried both.

Re: Duvide Jumpropes
I've had a dS that I purchased from Bill @ Rogue Fitness for a few months now and the thing wears like iron. Plenty fast to do double unders, but it's not a speed rope in the strictest sense.

Re: Improving Metcon
If your goal is to improve your fran time I'd try some of the following:
15 - 15 - 15 and 9 - 15 - 21 rep schemes with 95lb thrusters and pullups.
I don't think dropping the weight is your...
