Finished the race yesterday in 40:29. Over 14 minutes faster than the last time i did it! It was even tougher I think because the terrain was much harder to navigate and the obstacle were more...

Re: Why do people dislike Cross Fit?

In my experience, people don't like it when you hold a mirror up to them. It's obvious that whether you like crossfit or not, it is pretty intense. Plus, I think the average crossfitter is more aware...

Re: Fellow Crossfitters, I need your help!

I used to be really into body building but I've since seen the light. I used to read muscle mags quite a bit and I once noticed that two of the premiere body builders at the time had articles about...

How Lucky am I!

I just took a job in Austin, TX for a premium cooler company and my bosses couldn't be more awesome. They let their employees use a space in the back of the warehouse for a gym that a lot of CrossFit...

Re: Seen in Public today

The only problem I really have with being Vegan is that its not really sustainable. They have a difficult time getting all the proper nutrition in their diet, so they absolutely must supplement. If...

Re: Heard in the Office Today

I work at a hospital and this is really more of an observation. I'm an X-ray tech and I thought when I got into this field that I would take tons of x-rays of crazy broken bones.

That it definitely...

Re: Seen in Public today

I saw a vegan in public. Those guys are hilarious. How did I know he was a vegan? Gray skin, thinning hair, emaciated but still with a pot belly. Oh and the alfalfa sprouts are usually a dead give...

Re: Biggest Pet Peeve

Even if you live right next to a nuclear power it would take 1000 years to absorb as much radiation as you get with 1 chest x-ray. So even at 20 times the normal radiation output it would still take...

Re: O'Diesel!!!!! - JR O'Dell's Log

It definitely sounds like you are compensating for your injury there. I did something very similar when I rolled my ankle very badly a few years back. It was subtle, and even after I was...

Re: Warrior dash

That really stinks. If you ran in one of the early waves you actually would have been able to compete. The storm was pretty bad.

Re: Warrior dash

I just did the one in Norco, LA. Not an amazing time at 52:41. I was just happy I got to race because it was cancelled at noon by the authorities because a huge storm cell moved in and funnel clouds...

Re: Claude's Log (Monroe, LA)

I know I can make all the excuses in the world, but I just got...
