Re: Masters Sprint Template

I recommend doing hill sprints (walk down) and sled harness sprints on flat ground. It is much harder to pull a hamstring when going uphill or pulling a sled.

I am 43 and do hill sprints...

Re: Magnesium for sleep

Glycinate, threonate, oronate, fumarate, and taurate are all good oral sources. I think sulfate and chloride can be taken topically. Check out Poliquin's website and store; he is big into...

Re: probiotic supplement???

This is highly variable depending on the food. I drink and eat Kombucha, yogurt, kefir, and filmjölk. All have listed lower probiotic totals per serving than the supp. I take--single digit billions...

Re: How many affiliates have bar lockers? with wfs link

I keep my personal trap bar and SS Yoke Bar at my gym and leave them available for all to use. I think it's only fair if they take up valuable space in a relatively small gym.

Additionally, I...

Re: Change in Body Odour with Fish Oil

I only count three fish oil pills; that is not enough to cause a change in body odour. Your diet needs more fat.

Re: Fats in pwo shake? with wsff link

Agreed; I usually go straight whey and will add a piece of fruit if I feel I need carbs. After showering and changing I then eat a meal with fat.

For those adding coffee to PWO shakes, I think...

Re: Trying To Help My Girlfriend Get A Muscular Behind

As a couple of others have mentioned, Bret Contreras is the expert on this issue.

Re: Are some people just better suited for a upper/lower style training?

Do what works for your body and goals. No one has become fitter while injured.

If you do not intend to compete, there is no need to do movements that carry an increased risk of injury and for...

My injury got better with rest. By the time I saw the surgeon (approx. 2 months from onset), it had gone away. It has never returned.

Re: A question for those that WOD before bed...

I frequently work out at until 10 PM. I find I can get to sleep at 12. Men's league hockey is much worse; a 10:30 game means a 2 AM bedtime.

I suggest the following options:

1. go to bed at...

If you do not care if it is lean mass, there are two tried and true methods more pleasurable than drinking a gallon of milk a day.

2. daily wine and cheese

Re: If any ladies can answer .. guys welcomed too

I suggest adding a dinner after the PWO shake and an hour of sleep. Try to increase your walking--shoot for five miles per day.

I hope you are not working out five days straight.
